Krishna Valley, also known as New Vraja Dhama, is one of Europe's largest ecological farm communities and Hungary's only cow protection center. Visitors are welcome to join our morning meditation and prayer ceremonies at the temple, explore the vegetable garden or cow barn, walk through the vast and beautiful landscape, or simply relax in the serene parks.
Somogyvámos

Somogyvámos is home to Krishna Valley, also known as New Vraja Dhama, a unique spiritual eco-farm community in Hungary. Founded by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), it is one of Europe’s largest ecological farm communities and a center for Bhakti yoga practice. Around 140 dedicated volunteers live here, following a self-sufficient lifestyle rooted in devotion and sustainability.
At the heart of Krishna Valley stands the magnificent temple of Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara, where daily worship, meditation, and prayer take place. The community is also known for Hungary’s only cow protection center, emphasizing compassion and ethical farming. Visitors can experience the spiritual atmosphere by joining morning meditations, exploring the lush organic gardens, visiting the cow barn, or strolling through the serene landscapes. Whether seeking peace, spiritual insight, or a glimpse into sustainable living, Krishna Valley offers a truly enriching experience.

Experience Krishna Valley and its stunning Indian temple in the heart of Europe. Guests are welcome to join our morning prayers and japa session. During the day, explore the temple adorned with hand-painted depictions of Krishna’s pastimes, take darshan of Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara and Lakshmi Nrsimha, and enjoy a guided walk through Krishna Valley’s sacred sites inspired by Holy places in India. Visit our cows and oxen, see our unique ox-powered milling station, and end your tour by feeding the cows their favorite treats—apples and carrots. Throughout your stay, enjoy authentic Indian vegetarian meals at our Govinda restaurant.

Accommondation
- Gurudeva Bhavan – Located inside the farm, just behind the temple. It features one en-suite single room, one en-suite double room, one double room, and one triple room that share a bathroom.
- Elephant Guesthouse – Also inside the farm, near the entrance reception, about a 15-minute walk from the temple. It includes one en-suite single room (which can accommodate two people) and five en-suite double rooms.
- Kamala Kutir – A small building with three rooms: one with a private bathroom and two with a shared bathroom. It is located outside the farm, not far from the entrance, about a 20–24 minute walk to the temple.
- Kamala Bhavan – Suitable for younger guests and those young at heart. It offers dormitory-style accommodations with four rooms, each containing three bunk beds. The shared bathrooms are separated for men and women.
