DESCRIPTION

The ageing of our skin is a natural process, which begins in our twenties and becomes visible sooner or later, depending on our genetic factors, lifestyle and bad habits.

Natural aging of the skin becomes much faster in certain skin disorders and as a result of chronic UV photoaging, stress, smoking, any internal or wasting diseases, and hormonal factors.
During aging, the quantity of elastic and collagen fibres in the dermis, which are responsible for the flexibility and stretchiness of the skin, and for tensile strength and pliability, respectively, as well as the quantity of basic substance in the interfibre space providing the tightness of the skin (containing a high amount of water, minerals dissolved in water, and, among others, mucopolysaccharides, hyaluronic acid, proteoglycans and chondroitin sulphuric acid, which are responsible for the adaptive functions of the skin) are reduced, and the proportion of their components becomes imbalanced.

As aging progresses, scaly peeling and greyish skin colour caused by reduced tallow production, as well as pigment spots and keratoses occurre depending on the severity of photodamage, and makes our skin look visibly older.

This results in reduced volume of the skin, and a thin, looser skin structure with poor tone.

TREATMENT TYPES

  • RADIESSE TREATMENT
  • DRACULA TREATMENT

AFTER THE TREATMENT / DOWNTIME

  • RADIESSE TREATMENT
  1. Treated area shouldn't be washed for 8 hours. Tight dresses (Bra, t-shirt etc.) can produce side effect by pressuring the skin, jewellery can be damaged by the acid.
  2. Downtime: the redness remains for approximately 2 days on the skin, desquamation starts on the 3rd and finish on the 5-7th day, depending the pretreatments. The skin is healed in 1 week, but complete regeneration finish on the 6th week post-treatment.
  3. We do suggest using solar protection and special skin treatment during and after the treatment
  • DRACULA TREATMENT
  1. During the 24 hours after the injection session, you must not apply makeup products on the treated areas of your skin, don't go to the sauna or hammam, or expose yourself to the sun.
  2. In very rare cases certain slight side effects may occur: redness, small haematomas, etc. In gemeral, these side effects lastonly a few hours, or at most, a few days. Dependinng on the technique chosen, small residual papules remain or up to 48 hours until the product is completely diffused in the skin. These are normal effects of the treatment. If problem persist contact your phisician.
  3. The final result is not visible immediately, as the collagen and elastin fiber formation starts 2-4 weeks later. For the better result a post-treatment skin stimulation (e.g. ultrasound treatment, mesotherapy, massage), and topical vitamin C, vitmain E and stem cell products are recommended.
  4. Oral corticosteroid, antihistamin, NSAID drugs, smoking, UV-irradiation may influence negatively the final result.
  5. In very rare cases 3-4 weeks post-treatment a late hypersensitivity reaction is seen (small, erytematous, ichy papules in the injection points), which rsolve spontaneously in 2 weeks time, but are contraindication of further PRP treatments. If problem develops contact your phisician.
